Remembering the Fall of the Berlin Wall

 It was 22 years ago today that the Berlin Wall came down. I remember the day well and like many others found it hard to believe that it really was coming down.

The philosophy of government ownership of commercial enterprises still hangs on stubbornly in places like Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Our healthcare and school systems are still generally run along Soviet lines. 

This will change as governments face the inevitable math of demographics plus unsustainable debt.
