Today comes news that the Governor of Nebraska, Dave Heineman, has approved an alternate route for the Keystone XL pipeline.

Well, it certainly seems to be the week for Oil news – I promise I’ll write about something else next week!

Today comes news that the Governor of Nebraska, Dave Heineman, has approved an alternate route for the Keystone XL pipeline through his state, and rumours suggest that President Obama is preparing to approve the construction.

The project benefits both the US and Canada, so hopefully this long standing issue will be resolved soon.
