Day 18 – Advent is the season of preparing for Christmas. Here at the Frontier Centre for Public Policy we want to tell you about some of the things we would like to see under our tree.

 

On Day 18 we wish that our universities get out of Stalinist social engineering schemes based on over the top identity politics. For example, the University of Manitoba should get back to the basics of focusing on academic excellence. An obvious step is for the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba to drop its quota admission policy for women, LGBTQ, the mentally and physically handicapped, and indigenous applicants etc.
