Over the last few months, hundreds of unmarked graves of people connected to residential schools have been identified. It is difficult to discuss this circumstance because of the implication that examining the causes is insensitive to indigenous peoples.Rodney Clifton, Brian Giesbrecht, and Frances Widdowson discuss why open inquiry about the unmarked graves is difficult.
