The Frontier Centre for Public Policy is pleased to announce that Rod Clifton, a Senior Research Fellow, will be named Professor Emeritus at the University of Manitoba today, Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

Rod Clifton was a Professor in the Faculty of Education, University of Manitoba, for 32 years and he has been associated with the Frontier Centre for Public Policy (www.fcpp.org) since its beginning in 1998.  He received his B. Ed and M.Ed. from the University of Alberta, his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, and his Fil.Dr. from the University of Stockholm.  He has also received a number of national and international awards, and he has published almost two hundred articles in national and international journals and newspapers.  His most recent book, What’s Wrong With Our Schools and How We Can Fix Them, written with Michael Zwaagstra and John Long, was published in 2010.
