Yep, even more big oil news today as an Australian company have announced a shale oil discovery that could (usual conditions of accessibility, recoverability etc) mean Australia has larger oil reserves than even Canada.

Perhaps concerning for the Alberta government’s budget calculations in the long term, but certainly great news for humanity as a whole, and Australia in particular. Truly the lucky country!
