Political discussions in Canada often spill over from the USA.
In this article looking at tax expenditures, there are some interesting ideas that merit some discussion.
In my opinion, both spending is done on the revenue side or the expenditure side should be considered as public sector expenditures. Overall, I would like to see a commitment from government to simplifying that tax code and moving towards a concept of a flat tax that applies to everyone.
