Back in May I wrote about the first ever docking of the private Dragon capsule with the International Space Station.

Now, SpaceX have completed the first ever private re-supply mission to the ISS, taking over the slack left by NASA with the retirement of the Shuttle fleet.

You can even watch the ISS capturing the capsule using a Canadian built robotic arm and then docking. The video is courtesy of, ironically, RussiaToday TV:

It’s amazing to think that the private sector now has more access to space than the world’s largest superpower, who are now reliant on businesses and the Russian space program.
