BBC Charts Conundrum

Blog, Economy, Peter McCaffrey

The BBC are currently trying to decide whether to play “Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead”.

Ostensibly, you’d think, no of course not, that’s offensive  but actually the reason they’re having to consider it is because the hateful left-wingers have been buying the song online to push it in to the charts that will be played in the regular countdown shows.

So should the BBC play the song? Of course! Censorship isn’t the answer. You’re running a charts show, you play whatever songs are in the charts.

The real irony is that the left is celebrating Thatcher’s death by buying stuff. She really did win!
