Memo to Vancouver about Alberta Oil

Have a nice summer with your stay at home vacations.
Published on June 19, 2012

To: Vancouver city Mayor and Council

It has come to our attention that your City’s mayor does not want Alberta oil shipped into your city.  Accordingly, we have acted on your wishes and reduced the flow that is destined for your local refinery.  I trust this action addresses your concerns.

We also believe this action works fully in support of the Province’s efforts to reduce CO2 emissions and improve air quality in the region.  By reducing amount of refining of oil products in the Lower Mainland, we hope to contribute towards the process of improving air quality throughout the region.

Have a nice summer with your stay at home vacations.
