Solar Energy – Food for Thought

The value of solar energy should reflect avoided investment costs of incremental production as well as grid benefits.

While I don’t entirely agree with the analysis, there are some valid points to consider in this commentary about the value of solar energy that is posted at The Grist.

I do believe that the value of solar energy should reflect avoided investment costs of incremental production as well as grid benefits.  Arriving at a value for those attributes is where the challenge lies.
