Allowing low income housing to be built should not be front page news in Regina.

The Regina Leader Post’s second front page story today boils down to the fact that the council allowed some housing development to go ahead.

Small wonder that we hear complaints of a lack of affordable housing when City Hall actually allowing a development for low income families to be built is literally front page news.

Frontier published a paper on this very topic last year: Freedom to Build: Homes for the homeless

In the mean time, good on Regina City Hall for doing the right thing in this instance.
