A few years ago, the shock of WW1 was brought home to me while touring the Australian war museum.  While we in North America have our own museums and memorials, I have never had the message driven home so hard about how so many sacrificed their lives for us as at that location.  If anyone of you ever visits Australia, I really encourage you to go to this museum.  The experience will change your world view.

In Canada, we have In Flanders Field to help us to remember.  Australia has given us a song that should help everyone remember.

Please pause for 2 minutes at 11:00 AM.  The world war went silent at that hour so many years ago and so should we.
