My wish is to see this happen more rapidly in the communications and media sector.

This is a really scary article that calls into question how private business works.

While as a business wonk, I can agree that excessive short term thinking in management of companies can be a really bad thing, this commentary goes over the top.

I do not buy into the meme that we are outsourcing our future to foreigners nor that short term thinking is destroying our companies.  Instead, what I believe is happening is the process of creative destruction that is pushing aside outdated business models in favour of others that are more relevant today.

My wish is to see this happen more rapidly in the communications and media sector.  We need to see some more creative destruction in that sector.
